Failed Restore and Backup

I've been having issues with my Cloud. When I open the Cloud app, it shows I have x number of messages and call logs. When I do a Restore, I select Call Logs and messages. On the drop down notification, it shows X # of messages and a process bar. It starts at 0 of 95, but never changes. Then I get a message restore complete. I then open up the Messages + app and there are no messages. So nothing was restored. Same with call logs. If I have any call logs, they are not backed up. In the app like I said, it shows 95 messages and 53 call logs. I have uninstalled updates in settings, I have deleted the Cloud app and reinstalled, and nothing changes. Is there a way to completely delete the Cloud data and start with a clean Cloud account. Logging in on the website does not do anything either.

We want you to have a good experience with Verizon Cloud, so we apologize for any trouble you're having with the backup and restore process. Typically, deleting the cloud account content is done manually What model phone do you have? During the restore process, do you receive any error messages?

Thank you for the reply. When I do the restore, it seems as though it is going to work. The app shows I have x number of messages, I choose the box to restore them to the device. Click Restore. It shows restoring. I pull down the notification window, and it shows a status bar with 0 of 95q messages being restored. It stays on 0% And never changes. Finally it closes, and I receive a notification that restore is completed. But nothing was restored to the device. I have the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Let’s be sure you can see all your stored messages right away. When did you start having this issue? What messaging app are you using on the phone?

The issue started about 2 weeks ago when I tried restoring some messages I had saved. I'm using the most current version of Messages+. Pictures save and restore fine, just the messages I'm having issues with.

Thank you for that information. Do you have any available updates for your device? Are any other applications giving you any issues? You mentioned heading online to your My Verizon to view the content in your Cloud. Were you able to see the content that you are trying to restore? Is the content available online at all?
