Feeling frustrated with the cloud

I have found that I have duplicates of photos all over the place and I am trying to clean them up. On my timeline in the cloud at the bottom it seems that all my photos have been backed up again and are all in one "folder". I want to get rid of it but it deletes those photos from my phone and the cloud all together. I need to find out how to get rid of photos without it deleting them from everywhere. My brother just passed away so I don't want to take a chance at losing everything. Please help.

Allow me to eliminate the frustrations you're experiencing with your Verizon Cloud service.  I am sorry to hear of your loss, and I want to ensure you're able to retain those special memories and photos.


First, I need a little bit more information.  Where are you seeing the duplicate photos, online in your Verizon Cloud or on your device?  What model phone are you using?

I am using the Galaxy Note 4 and I only seem to see them on the app but

when I go to desk top mode I don't see them.

Do you have any other apps on the device that back up your photos?


Describe where you are seeing the duplicates. Walk us through the process. When did this begin? Do you recall any changes you make to your device before this began?
