How Do I Take Photos From The Cloud And Put Them On My PC?

I have over 1.5 k of photos in the cloud that I want to offload to my PC so I don't have to buy additional storage.  How do I accomplish this?

Download the photos to your computer - they will come in as a zip file, and I recommend downloading 200-300 at a time rather than all 1500 at once.  Once all the photos are on your computer and you are sure they are there, turn off syncing from your phone (temporarily) and then delete them from the cloud.
