How do I do an initial download of existing contact data?

When I install Verizon Cloud on my (new) smartphone, the app only wants to UPLOAD my current data.  I want to DOWNLOAD contacts previously saved via Backup Assistant (from my old flip phone).  How do I do this?

I can see the data on my PC via the web interface, so I know it has been previously saved to Verizon Cloud.

Following those directions, the first action is to sync data on the current device TO the cloud.  I do not want to do that, I want to retrieve the data from my old (dumb) phone FROM the cloud, before uploading any new content.

It’s crucial to get access to that irreplaceable data, HighCastle. You can easily do this by going to your online account at https://www.verizonwireless.com/solutions-and-services/verizon-cloud/ and choosing the link “Already a Verizon Cloud User? Manage your content on the web.
