Can someone help me transfer data from a work phone to a personal phone?

One very good way to do that is with the Free Verizon Content Transfer app!   You can download it for free from your app store.   It even works on non-Verizon phones!       Just download it to your old phone and tell it that is the "to" phone, then when your new phone is activated, download the Verizon Content Transfer app to it and tell it that's the "to" phone and it'll move everything over for you!   

It moves:

pictures

videos

music

documents

text messages

call logs
