How do I turn off Verizon Cloud on my Laptop? I tried to "delete it from my computer", it wouldn't allow me to. I really want to stop the syncing .... HELP?!?

How do I turn off Verizon Cloud on my Laptop???  I tried to "delete it" from my computer, it would not allow me to.

I truly want to stop Cloud syncing - as the syncing notices cover/prevent me from viewing pertinent information. H.E.L.P.!!!

I know how important it is to keep your important information backed up. Please describe the steps you took when attempting to remove the program from your computer. What exactly is happening when the program begins its syncing cycle?

I first went to Settings, Apps & Features, then found Verizon Cloud, and then I clicked on Uninstall.  Before it does anything, a "Verizon Cloud Uninstall" Box pops up with the following message;
"We have detected that Verizon Cloud is already running. Close Verizon Cloud before uninstalling."  Also in the pop-up box are the options, "Retry" or "Cancel".

If I knew how to do that, I wouldn't need to uninstall the program.   Soooo, I still need help?!

   Konakid, the program Verizon Cloud could be loading at start up so running in the background. Right click on Start in the lower left corner of the computer screen and click on Task Manager. From the Processes Menu locate Verizon Cloud, click on it and End Task, then close out of Task Manager.

  Go back to Start and right click and select Programs and Features, locate Verizon Cloud and uninstall. The instructions I've given to you are for Windows 10, based on your post it appears that's the operation system you're using.

But as I indicated in my response to 1., which is also listed immediately above your reply as #2, it IS definitely running at "Start Up", and so when I attempt to "Uninstall" the program, I get the response:

What I am ultimately trying to accomplish is, to get Verizon Cloud from syncing (not removing); although removing the program was suggested as a way to get it to stop syncing, since no one seems to know how to get it to stop doing that....?!?!

PLEASE, Salisbury, IN NO WAY am I frustrated or upset with you.  But as someone who was once a Technical Trainer for a large multi-office company, I am beyond frustrated that Verizon would create a system that NO ONE knows how to accomplish my request.  Maybe it's just me...????  #LOL

(Trust me when I say, I've been trying to find out how to do this for going into the third month, using the web, telephone and e-mail, all in contacting Verizon. Hmmmm, maybe I don't like them as much as I used to, but after having a relationship with them for over 20 years, maybe 25, my patience is truly growing non-existent.)

   Konakid, what I thought you meant was to uninstall Verizon Cloud (VC) from the computer. If it is syncing it is likely in the settings of VC that is installed on your smartphone.

  I have previously uninstalled VC from the computer didn't have the patience for it and will shortly remove it from a iPhone 6s Plus 128 GB because VC is not going to pad lock music.

  Not knowing what kind of phone you have, if it is an Android there is other options with Google. After using Android I prefer iPhone with iTunes & iCloud.

  But do not consider leaving Verizon as a carrier over various software, cause they are the best, you know that anyway.

We definitely want to get this resolved for you. If the steps found here ( http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-78843/ ) are not able to remove the program, please put your computer into Safe Mode and then try the steps above to remove it again.
