I'm using the cloud for the first time, as my phone has a busted charging port. As you can imagine, the issue of getting power to the phone is presenting a problem. It's compounded by the backup stopping when the phone is locked. Is this supposed to happen? Does the screen need to stay on, with the app open, for the backup to take place?
I do have the options checked for background app refresh, so it should be able to work when the phone is locked.
Keeping the phone powered for the 15 hours needed for this backup will be difficult. Any suggestions?

What make/model phone are you having trouble using Verizon Cloud on? Have you ever been able to use Verizon Cloud on this device before without having to leave it unlocked?
