Missing text messages between one phone number and mone

All of sudden my text messages from my fiance and I between 3/14/15 and 5/8/15 are gone. We have extremely important info in those messages more precisely the first week of May while he was out of town he sent me several pieces of info regarding our trip and we need a password that's in those messages to retrieve our passports for our vacation. How do I get those messages back? We leave in 3 days aND I was just going back to get the our pass codes from that message and noticed that a chunk of my messages were gone I have messages before those dates buy not in between those dates, I don't understand how that could have happened?

You will need to have him resend those messages.  If he no longer has the messages, you may need to contact whoever it was that sent them initially.

I know it doesn't help now, but in the future, be sure to lock all important messages as you receive them so you don't lose them. Good luck, hope you find the messages and info you need.

He keeps his phone pretty tidy, because he recieves so many emails and messages do to his job and it only stores 300 messages from each recipient, he found the info in some old paperwork from the original purchase of our safe to reset the pass code. That had since been either thrown away or misplaced, we have turned or apt upside down trying to find it.  Now we don't have that manual and he can't remember the pass code but I had to get in there while he was out of town that's why it was in a text message to schedule our flight we needed our passports. Now we can't get them out. We leave in 3 days and am freaking out!

I didn't know you could do that, my phone had all my messages from several months and never had a need for it. But thank you I will for sure now, just need to find that message. We leave for cozumel in 3 days and our passports are in the safe. He is found the same thing his phone but since he purposely deleted them it's even more of a dead end. I have the messages before the date needed and afterrwards, it's just that I missing that chunk in between, this had never happened to me before.

I'm not sure what type of safe you are referring to, but as an absolute last ditch effort...take the safe to a fire department and they can open it for you. That is if it's one of those fire safes you buy at like Walmart. Of course they will destroy the safe in the process but you will have your passports. Safe can be replaced.

Contact the safe manufacturer for further suggestions.

We've tried contacting the 1-800 number on the side of it but they would only help us if we had registered it, we never did had it for a couple years now and no receipt info to do so even if they would allow it we got it from his mom. It would take a good 4 to 5 men to get this safe out of our pantry and apt, it's his step father's old gun safe. I think destroying it is not an option. Does anyone have suggestions of how to just get my messages back?  Believe me we've tried just about everything under the sun. I'm looking for help with my phone, how can I access my messages!  why are only some missing I have older ones and all my new ones but just a select chunk is missing?

If they weren't backed up and no record exists, I honestly have no other answer short of Dr. Fone or CoolMuster for Android, 2 paid programs that use the PC to recover files.
