We both got the same message that reads:
VZW FREE MSG: Welcome to Verizon Cloud! Complete your setup and activate your 30 day free trial. go.vzw.com/GetCloudApp
Neither of us signed up, so if its just promotional, it seems strange that it would be "welcoming" us. Anyone else get this? Or should I be worried?

Even though you haven't activated a Verizon Cloud subscription service, your contacts may be stored for you at no charge in the Verizon Cloud. Have you ever had the Verizon Cloud app on your phone(s)? The message may just be the result of a marketing push.

Yes, double check your account with the person who sent you the private message. We don't want you to be paying for something you don't use.
