I have read all of the related threads, NONE of which actually seem to answer the question.
In Message+, there is the ability to save a text message. Yes, I know it saves it to a folder somewhere.
I want to open the saved messages FROM THE MESSAGE+ APP.
How?

And if for some god forsaken reason I can't open them from the Message+ app, How can I disable the "save" feature so that messages are never again sent to the black hole of the nether world?

When I 'save' a message in Message+ on my Droid Turbo 2, it saves it on my phone in a VZW Messages folder on the SD Card. I can then try to use a third party File Manager app to 'open' the .vzm file but Message+ isn't an option to use to read it and the other options provided don't show it in a user friendly format, if at all. If the message was deleted from Message+, there is the option in Message+ to 'restore' messages, selecting those 'saved' on the phone (SD Card) or from Verizon's online storage. Looks like the way to see them is to restore them to the Message+ app.
