I have my contacts on the Verizon Cloud, they loaded perfectly when I switched phones a year ago. I have a Samsung Galazy S5. I have an auto sync every night and for the past few months I wake up with an alert that the contacts cannot sync. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

Do the same contacts stop syncing or is it different each time?
Have you been through the Content Restore process
Menu>Content Restore> Check off the desired content
(if possible do this with WiFi enabled to preserve data)

I Don't use the Verizon cloud anymore because it used to require mobile data only and won't sync over wifi.
do you turn off mobile data at home?
i Merged all my contacts to Google, so no matter what device I use they are sync with my Google account beautifully.
