Verizon cloud picture back up

Just opened an upgraded account to move files to cloud while transfer to new phone. Never used icloud on this line before.  It's an old Motorola Droid. Checked boxes to back up contacts, photos and documents.  Contacts transferred with no problem but message says there are no photos or documents on my phone.  How can I help the cloud to see them?  I've looked through the website info on using and troubleshooting the cloud connection but found nothing useful.  thanks.

I can understand how important it is to move your media from one device to another. Cloud should automatically detect any media files that are on the device. What model Motorola do you have?What exactly did you upgrade (storage)?  AlbertoR_VZW
