​How can I retrieve text messages from the cloud?

You've come to the right place for answers. Knowing just how to get your messages that have been backed up is important. To retreive any messages that are in the cloud, you'd need to restore the content to your device. You can do that by opening in the cloud app and choosing Menu > Settings > Tools > Content Restore > Select Messages > Choose Restore.
