Having your cloud is always important. To clarify, did you make a backup or recently restored information from your cloud? Did you change the password for your cloud account?

Contacts is a Sync with the Cloud, so if any contacts are deleted on your device they are also removed from the Cloud storage. This allows frequent silent updates in the background as you edit contacts information. Check your device's contacts app for trash and restore from there. If you need you can reach the Cloud Support team (in the app there is 'Send Feedback' which is our in-app ticket system) and request they search the Cloud Storage trash as well

If the OP hasn't deleted any contacts, but simply has no contacts showing in their new device, that's simply that the new device is not synced with their Verizon Cloud account?

Are you sure the contacts were saved on your Verizon Cloud account?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
