Why are they Charging for cloud??

Been a customer for year...this could be the end to an already more expensive plan than most. An already OVERPRICED pan is adding a charge for cloud?

Ryakre40, it would break our heart to lose you as a customer of ours. We can understand your concerns with the price change to our Verizon Cloud service. Due to the ever growing high demand for cloud storage, customers on free cloud service are being directed to move to a premium cloud storage for a low price starting at $5.00 a month. This fee does not require a contract and you may cancel at anytime if you find an alternate way to back up your content. If you already back up your content through a different third party app, you are not required to keep Verizon Cloud and pay for it monthly. What make and model phone do you have?

VerizonWireless:

When I selected my voice and data plan, I was told to keep the cloud option because it was less monthly than without the cloud feature. I also had employer discounts which were discontinued and this cloud idea reduced my month fee's to what they are now.  So, when you folks discontinue this cloud feature, which I am paying for, will my voice/data plan then go up or stay at the base $50 ?

Garthman,

Allow us to clarify. The Verizon Cloud feature would not be a feature that would discount your plan. Therefore, the removal of the feature would only remove the cost for the feature itself.

Verizon keeps added chargers to Verizon I cloud to all our lines every other months when none of us are using it at and and did not give any access or agreement to this. I am so close to canceling this is the second month they try to pull this stuff. It’s ridiculous and illegal. Might consider going to lawsuit.
