Most wireless plans come with Verizon Cloud attached to it. When you set up the cloud app, either through the second step of the device setup or by opening the Cloud app and setting up the app there, that will start a 30-day free trial. During that free period, you will receive 2 txt messages as you are nearing the trial conclusion before the billing will start to allow you to removed the cloud service from the account to avoid being billed.
If the cloud setup is not explicitly completed either through the Cloud setup steps in the device setup or the Cloud app itself, you will not be billed.
