Why wont Verizon cloud app on phone log in.

I just reactivated my Nokia Icon and the Verizon Cloud app won't log in.  Keep receiving message to check data connection.  I have both data and wifi connections. App worked fine on IPhone 6s.  I've unistalled/reinstalled app, but no luck.

Mustang5287, I want to make sure that we get all of your information from your cloud to move over to your new phone without any issues. Have you been able to try to log in while just connected to the mobile number network and with wi-fi turned off?  Keep me posted.
