empting my trash

I went to empty my trash and didn't realize when I did the pictures that it took some of my contacts also. Is there any way to get the contacts back once they have been permanently deleted? Please help, I had to get a replacement phone and I was trying to get the rest of my contacts to come over since when I did a restore not all of them came over and now they are gone.

Oh no! I know the pain of losing precious photos by accident. Where were the photos saved to before they were deleted? Do you know if the photos were backed up at all?
