Are you trying to upload photos TO the cloud, move them from the cloud to somewhere else, or move them from folder to folder within the cloud?  Please be more specific with what you want to do so we can better guide you.

How do i move my pictures into a album and not just save them in an album?

Right now photos are saving in two areas.

Uploading them to the cloud means they go into the default albums the "cloud" sets up - with Google it is year and month folders; Once they are in the cloud you can rearrange as desired. 

You said they are saving in two different areas - where are they being saved?

i am trying to take them from the cloud where it is labeled year and month folders and move them into new folders under the correct event.  When i try to move the pictures from the year and month page it just copies the picture into the folder and doesn't actually move it. So now i have pictures in both places.  Is there any way to actually move the picture from year and month or will they always be there.

How are you trying to "move" them?  If you select several, then use your mouse or touchpad to "right-click" and drag, you will see options to Move or Copy.  Select MOVE.
