I deleted several GB of photos from my cloud, but they are still on my phone. Is there a setting to automatically delete files from the phone if they are deleted from the cloud, and vice versa, if they are deleted from the phone, they disappear from the cloud. I don't want to maintain 2 different locations of files.

Duplicate files are never a fun thing to have to deal with. May we ask where you originally deleted the pictures from? Was it the Cloud app? Or did you log inot your My Verizon account online at vzw.com? I highly recommend deleting from there & then resyncing your app.
If the pictures are not in your CLoud but still say in your Gallery, you will have to delete them as that is a seperate application.
