Download them (as a zip file, or possibly several if you have a lot of photos) if you want to keep the photos, and store them on your computer, or an external drive. Remove the sync option from your phone so photos currently on your phone won't re-sync to the Verizon cloud, and then delete the photos from the Verizon cloud.
