why aren't my photos uploading to the cloud?

Trying to transfer photos from my flip phone to the cloud. I was able to do this as recently as August 1. When I've bee trying to do it the past 2 or 3 days, the photos are being sent, but not uploaded to the cloud. I usually get texts saying whether or not the uploads were successful, and I've gotten nothing. Chatted online with Verizon reps last night and they wanted me to do a factory reset. That would delete my photos, so I won't do that. Tried uploading photos from my mom's phone (same model) and they didn't work either. Went to a Verizon store and they said it's because the flip phones aren't supported as of October 1, 2015. If that's true though, I don't think it would have worked on August 1. There are also directions under the FAQ section for the cloud that explain how to upload from a basic phone, and that's exactly what I've been doing. So, is anyone else having this problem? Is something wrong with the cloud, and is there anything else I can do? I really don't want to lose my photos.

Pulled right from the Verizon website under the cloud FAQ section

How do I upload to Verizon Cloud from my basic phone?

To upload pictures and videos to your Verizon Cloud account directly from your basic phone:

  1. Select the picture or video you want to upload.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Scroll down and select To PIX Place or To Online Album.

You've successfully uploaded your picture or video to Verizon Cloud.

MAKE sure you include photos in settings on cloud within device in cloud app. open it, see if backups included for photos.

I don't think that's possible because I have a basic flip phone. I don't have a cloud app, but I do have the option of sending my photos from the phone to what was called Pix Place. Pix Place was discontinued last fall, but sending pics there was uploading them to the cloud until yesterday. It worked by sending photos individually to the cloud like a picture/text message. I just can't figure out why it's not working now. Thank you for answering though.

It's an LG 5400 flip phone. I've had it since 2007...it doesn't even have an SD card slot. I'm trying to keep my photos before I upgrade to a Galaxy. Verizon said they might be able to transfer them to the smartphone at an upgrade, but it might not work. I have over 400 photos I know it's crazy outdated but since it worked a few days ago I'm stumped.

I tried that and they think it's a Verizon issue. When I logged into the cloud account I made with my mom's phone (and never uploaded to), I got a message that said, "Usage details fetching error. (-1)" It's got to be some problem with Verizon.
