Recently I had bought a Jetpack from my local Verizon vendor on base. I was expecting decent internet speeds with this device, but currently it has been worse than the normal Wi-Fi in the barracks. I am averaging 290 ping from Dallas TX 0.15MBps and 0.1MBps from my room. I'm pretty sure this isn't normal and I like the idea that I'm paying for a service that is only 1/8 working as intended.

What service plan and data plan are you using?
Have you perform a Factory Reset as outlined on pages 25 & 26 of the User Guide?
Is the device using the most recent firmware?

Does the display show Verizon 4G LTE and how many bars?

Let's get you back in the fast lane Xarelock. I have verified there have been no reported outages in the Dallas Texas area. 4G service also looks good in the area. When did you start experiencing slow data speeds? Did you may any changes to the device or settings on your computer when you noticed the speed change?
Thank You,

I just bought this device and it has been slow since it first started. I've made no changes to any of my connected devices or my Jetpack. I displays 4G LTE but it's speeds differ. I've done a hard reset on the device as well but no improvement what so ever. Also checked for any updates and nothing.

Xarelock
Thanks for the extra info. What kind of speeds are you getting from your 4G smartphone in this area? What happens if you use the device outside or off site?

Well I have AT&T as my carrier for my iPhone and it is averaging about 3MB download and upload. And my apologies I'm in Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio not Dallas.

Let's get your jetpack up to speed also Xarelock. I'm not showing any issues at Fort Sam Houston. Please follow the steps provided in the following link and then wait 5 minutes for the device to normalize and retest the speeds: http://vz.to/1f5jqPB
Keep us posted with your results.

Yikes! These are not the speeds we want you to have, Xarelock. Please provide your zip code to we can pin point the area. Do you know if anyone else with Verizon is having the same issue? How many devices are connected to your Jetpack when you are receiving these speeds?
