I have a Dell XPS 13 laptop and an Epson WF-2760 all-in-one printer. Both are correctly set up to use my ellipsis jetpack WiFi. Problem: my laptop doesn't communicate with my printer. I've downloaded and installed all the drivers recommended, the jetpack recognizes both the printer and the laptop, yet the laptop can't "find" the printer. BTW...this only happened after I got my ellipsis jetpack; with my older jetpack, printer and laptop communicated well with each other. Any suggestions to fix the problem?

See page 26 and 27 of the manual, Privacy Separator should be off for normal operation.

This was the correct answer. I had a feeling it had something to do with my new jetpack. What a lot of detective work to find and fix the problem! I fault two people: (1) the clerk who talked me into the upgrade without explaining how the Privacy Separator works or even needs adjusting. Apparently the clerk who sold me my first jetpack, pre-set the privacy separator to "off," so I had no clue that it even existed. Then, when I got my new jetpack, suddenly my laptop didn't recognize my printer; (2) the Epson installation software and manual never mentioned this in their troubleshooting information. They had me uninstall and re-install, turn laptop and printer off, then on again, check my "router," etc. I went to Staples to look for a "router" (though I couldn't figure out why I needed one since the laptop and printer used to communicate). The clerk at Staples said it could be the privacy settings on the jetpack, but he gave me no clue as to how you change the privacy settings. FINALLY got my answer on this forum, but jeesh! what a lot of hoops to jump through !
