How do I upgrade the software on my 800L jetpack using a Mac computer. The instructions are only for a PC.

My Jetpack updates automatically, are you saying yours does not?

We want your device to be updated so it can function to its fullest potential, JAMTRU52. Your device will need to be connected to a Windows device in order to process the update. I do wish there was a work around but can confirm this to be true. This still does not help those of us who only have Apple computers. Can we take the device to a Verizon store to get the upgrade installed? If this is the case, it is incredibly inconvenient since it is the ONLY option you are giving us in order to continue using the Jetpack. Not happy!

I certainly do apologize that those instructions are for Windows only, rahdesign. I wanted to save you an unnecessary trip to the store. You can still do the software update over-the-air with the device through the device admin page. You can follow the steps listed here for a first attempt at the software update: http://spr.ly/65838RtBS
If those steps do not work to update the software on your device you can go through the Jet pack administrator tool. To do this please navigate to http://192.168.1.1 and use your WiFi password to log into the admin page. From the Jetpack tab please select Software Update. From the Software Update tab please select Check for Update.

I'm new to the Forum. I need to see the entire discussion about this update but can't.  I also have a Mac. Please tell how to see it all. Maybe it's because I'm using my phone?  Will you be emailing me a Reply?
