Why is my prepaid wireless account still pending?
racerwoodard08

Hello,

I have attempted to contact Verizon wireless support a couple times to fix this issue. When I spoke with them yesterday, they explained to me that I had a 10 GB plan suspended and it was stopping a 5 GB plan from being activated. They told me they would fix it and it should take around 24 hours to get done. Now, it's been a little past that and my 5 GB plan hasn't been activated.

Normally, I don't mind this kind of thing IF the issue is resolved within the proposed window, but alas, it hasn't been fixed. Tech support was very accommodating but I'm really tired of not having access to a plan that I pay for.

I am also having an issue with the quickaccess verizon broadband portal either not coming up or redirecting me. I normally have to shut off the Ellipsis jetpack, turn off my wifi on my laptop, then boot both back up before it'll let me connect to the actual broadband portal.

The QA BBP is being or has been recently, updated (I haven't tried it since July 10) but right now it is not responding as expected.

The rest of your post is inconsistent with known facts. Perhaps if you explain why you "attempted" to contact Prepaid Customer Service a couple times without success and what you did to have success and how the 10 GB versus 5 GB data plans play into this.

I attempted to contact customer service because the broadband portal said that my usage was 'Pending' and that since it was pending, it wouldn't let me cancel or purchase another plan.

Because it's been stuck on Pending since the 24th, I contacted customer service twice over the last week or so to get it fixed... It hasn't been fixed.

I was also getting redirect errors. But I think that has more to do with my anti-virus having a DNS security addon.

Ah...  Since you have internet access try going around the BBP by using MyVerizon. Don't forget, you can use the (888) 294-6804 IVR system to add money using a refill card or credit/debt card if it becomes necessary.
