Play store is saying I need to allow background data, but I don't see how to do it, any ideas?

Cancel request. I wound up doing a factory reset. Nothing like worked

We're always here for support. Are you able to check settings on the device? If so, please select Settings>Developer Options>Don't keep activities, and ensure that the box is not checked. Let us know how everything goes.

That box is not checked, Anny other suggestions?

Thanks for taking these steps to troubleshoot, Jax49. We will get to the bottom of this! Did this start after installing any new apps or updates? What is your current system version found in Settings>About tablet? Please also go to Settings>Apps>All>Play Store>Select Clear cache and/or Clear Data then test again.

Yes, everything is up and running. I am really not happy with the fact that

I had to do the reset. This tablet is a piece of junk. No wonder Verizon

was giving it away.
