Elipse 7/Kindle - I downloaded a FREE book via Kindle for Android and the cover shows up on my tablet. But, it will not open. (I do have an Amazon account.)

Got it! Thanks for those details SKRAFCKY. Have you attempted to delete the book and re-download? We can try doing the same with the application to be sure, by uninstalling the Kindle application and reinstalling it see how here http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-88897//. Also, have you been able to attempt to download from another device with other results? We want you to be able to use your device as you need to, SKRAFCKY! Have you ever been able to open any books? Do you get an error when trying to open? Are you able to access/use other apps/functions on your device?

I have dowloaded and opened & read free books from Google plus and from my local library. But, the one downloaded from Amazon via Kindle for Android only shows the cover page. When you tap to open, the cover shrinks to widget size in the upper left corner. The bottom shows the page count approx. 3.947 but pages won't open??????
