Recently, while typing a text message from my Ellipsis 7 the bar that suggests words recommended the names of several of my friends. What I would like to know is since my device has no contact with my home PC, how did it get this information? I do not have a contact list on my device and the only place I do would be the PC at home.

Is your contacts saved in your Gmail account associated with the device? Are you using Verizon Messages and have your contacts backed up with Verizon's Backup Assistant?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Thanks for your reply, however the answer is no to both questions.

If you have no email app installed on the device, or Verizon messages (text app), what about Facebook, or Twitter, or Pinterest, or Linked In? Any of those could have a friends list that your spell checker is looking at to find what would be logical for you to be "spelling".

Now that I understand where they are coming from, I can narrow down the primary culprits. Thanks for you help.
