I set a security password to be able to log on the tablet and I have forgotten is there a way to reset the password? I can not get to settings or anything?
Let’s get you back into the tablet. With so many passwords we need to keep track of these days it is hard to keep track. Do you have your Gmail account set up on the tablet? If so Google has an alternative way to unlock the device in these situations.
Please try the following:
Go to https://play.google.com/store on a computer. Sign in with the Gmail email address and password that is set up on the tablet. In the upper right hand corner of the page, select the gear, and click on Android Device Manager. Make sure your tablet is listed and you will see an option for lock. This will allow you to select a new password for the tablet to unlock it.
If this does not work you will need to complete a factory data reset on the tablet. This will erase all information from it. Here is the link with the instructions http://vz.to/1R0t2r3. Hopefully the first set of instructions will work. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
