My ellipsis died for about 24 hrs out of the clear blue way before the battery was dead.. For no apparent reason, it started again.

My ellipsis died long before the battery was dead. About 24 hrs later it started again for no apparent reason. Has this happened to anyone else?

I was ready to dump it.
