Ongoing charging problems-Won't power up

Been having this problem from the beginning.  Even after I sent it in for repair/replacement, it will frequently power down while charging, and be very difficult to power back up, often having to hold the power and volume buttons at the same time for at least 15 seconds.  Today, it powered up, but was unresponsive to touch or buttons, so I shut it down(held the power button down until the menu came on, touched 'Power Off'.  It shut down okay, but is now completely unresponsive.

I can't afford to buy a new one, and my smartphone cannot handle the things I do on the tablet.

Tablets are a great way to consume media while on the go. What did you have to send the tablet in for previously? Have you tried using a different charger? Does the tablet show it is charging when it is plugged in?
