I hit a wrong button on my ecllipse and it frozen on factory mode and a list of other things.  What do I do  I have tried holding the power button and holding the power and down button

Sounds like you found the recovery menu. Is there a line that say reboot? Can you use the volume buttons to select the reboot option?

Pressing the power button and the volume down button at the same time during the boot sequence usually triggers the recovery menu option.
