my ellipsis 7 will not start up

For some reason my Ellipsis 7 will not charge or start. Anyone know what to do?

Let's get some life back to that tablet! When did this occur exactly? Any changes since this started? Let's try a soft reset on the device. Please press and hold the power button and the volume down key for approximately 15-20 seconds and see if the device responds.
