Are you using the Verizon Messages+application? Is the number synced to the Verizon Messages+ application associated with your phone? Are you receiving the messages on your phone?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
Yes. Using Verizon Message +app. I have my phone number in there. I can send text messages from there and all my contacts are listed. But nothing receives. Message. + on my cell phone works fine. Sends and receives.
Ramizell13, let's get your incoming texts working. Have you attempted powering the device off and then back on?

After spending about an hour and a half at your Okemos, MI Verizon store,
we've come to the conclusion that it's not the new tablet that won't work
with message+, it's my cell phone. They said my current cell phone was too
old (3 years old) and while I could use message + on it, it wasn't allowing
incoming messages to my tablet. That's why I could send from my tablet, but
not receive. Makes no sense to me because I though it was all application
based, but that's the explanation I ended up leaving with. My Sony Xperia
that I had on my account is broken, and I'm still paying on it so I had to
reactivate an old phone and am not in the position to purchase a new one so
I guess I'll have to make due for now.
Thank you,
Rebecca
