After creating the enhansed group, the the pervious discussion does not follow/care on with the added participants. Purpose is to include the new contacts in the current discussion.

If you're using Verizon Messages+, you need to switch to a different texting app (Verizon and I would recommend Google Messages). Messages+ is getting completely shut down in 2 more weeks and a lot of the functionality has been slowly going away over recent months already.
