Is this an unlocked model or a Verizon Wireless branded model?

I know how important the messaging feature is, CRM13, especially to stay in touch with friends and family. Some Verizon Branded apps are not available with some non-Verizon phones. Support for more new and existing devices is added regularly for this feature. Is the application not available in the Play Store?
