Anyone else having trouble texting friends with Straight Talk?

None of the messages I sent to my friends on Straight Talk will go through.
I've reset my phone and updating my roaming.
Is it something on their end?

That's a good question Lacilynn, and I'm sure we can figure this out. Did you recently port your service to us from StraightTalk? If so, it normally takes 36 hours for intercarrier messages to begin functioning. If not, are you receiving an error when sending them a message? Make sure to use the full 10 digit area code even if they have the same as yours. Let me know if you still need assistance.

My mother switch he'd to Straight Talk from At&t and suddenly, she does not get my texts. I get no error messages...she just doesn't receive them.  Persons using other carriers aside from Verizon can text her. What's up with that??

nancybm It is very important to be able to text with your mom. Is she able to send you text messages?

She can text me but she doesn't get my.messages. she gets messages from

other people using other carriers like sprint and

T- mobile.

Thanks for the details. What device make and model did she have before? What phone do you have? Please make sure she turned off her previous phone prior to using the new one. Do you have problems with anyone else in regards to messages?

We both have galaxy s4. No issues texting anyone else

Thanks for the additional details! Since we are unable to duplicate the error with any other phones, it appears the issue may be on her service providers end. Has she contacted them to review these concerns in further detail?

No I will tell her to call but in reading the posts in the corum, others

have had the issue as well.
