Blocked number still says 'delivered' on their end?

Hi,

I was testing the blocking feature on my phone (I have Android). After I blocked them, the person tried texting me. I never received the text. However, from their end it said the text was delivered. Is it possible to have the message bounce back and say it wasn't delivered?

That's how the blocking feature works on the phone. To have the text message undeliverable, you have to block them through the MyVerizon account online using the block option there. That block lasts for 90 days.

The message they sent to you is available in the archived section of your message application.

Where is the archived section? 

Is it possible to pull up the actual messages?
