Blocked #s are not 100% blocked.

I have blocked several telemarketers, but it appears they are able to still leave a voicemail. The issue with that is it doesn't inform me a message was left so unless I check my mailbox I won't know that I am either full or almost full. Why are blocked #s allowed to leave voicemail and why isn't Verizon letting me know there was a voicemail left?

We're sorry you're having issues with telemarketing calls. We have features like Call Filter that can help with these.Furthermore, wee also recommend signing up to the National Do Not Call registry website: https://www.donotcall.gov/

Thank you for responding, but neither solution solves the root problem which is you allowing blocked #s to be able to leave voicemail. If you are able to block text msgs, then you should also be blocking voicemails.
