Blocked text messages

I recently blocked someone from texting/calling me. I know when that person try's to call me they get a message that says the number was blocked but how about text messages?

When this person sends me a text what do they get on the other end? It is a Verizon number that I blocked.

Do they get a text back saying the number was blocked?

Does the text just look like it wasn't delivered?

I see a few people have asked this same question and no one seems to know the answer?

Since this person I blocked only texts me and doesn't call I just want to know if they are aware that they were blocked.

The text looks like it went thourgh on the other persons end, however you will never receive it.
