Is there a way to block message on the message+ app? The threads do not mention it and I haven't been able to find a way. I blocked the person in the call filter app and am still receiving texts. I blocked them through the phone and it did not affect the texting at all. If it is bit a feature, why hasn't been added?
Reporting spam is not always appropriate yet but seems to be the only solution the reps on here suggest. They ignore the fact that Verizon has found the most cumbersome and inaccurate way possible to block a number which h is manual entry. Can you please come out with some product enhancements to help your customers.

Verizon support just confirmed for me today that it kept no note of why it had me switch to "Message+" and that the crAPP does not allow blocking of text messages some of which need to be blocked for reasons (harassment, nuisance) other than spam. Verizon has a severe flirtation with spam as shown by its refusal to filter out obvious spam in the first place, but this crAPP takes the cake. I've switched to a competent messaging app.

Verizon is in the process of retiring the Messages+ app with final shutdown to occur in another 2 months, which is why it is barely working. Functionality has been going away throughout the year, as people were reporting things not working since the spring of this year. It's all to do with the sunsetting process, so it's a good thing you switched to a different app.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
