Call and text records over 18 months

I need access to text records from over 18 months ago. On the app and website it says to call the number so I did. They were of no help. They said they dont keep those records even though the website and app says to call the number for dates beyond 18 months. Is this possible to get the text records from over 18 months ago?

We're sorry to hear that you're having problems getting those text records. We don't keep records past 18 months, and have no way of providing them to you. We're very sorry for the inconvenience this might cause.
