Call forwarding and text forwarding

When I forward my calls to another phone are my text messages forwarded too? If not is there a way to do this?

Simple network call forwarding does not include text messages.  There may be an app available that will perform that function for you.

what app would you recommend for android?  need to forward texts to my iPhone for work

I just went through this and you can forward Android but not Apple phones,  Droid has an App for it, Iphone does not.  You simply enter the number in to forward to, but you must keep two lines that you pay for
