Can I Change The Contact List in Message app to only show mobile numbers?

I am using the Verizon Message+ app (version 9.3.0) on my Samsung galaxy phone.
When I start a new text, the contact list brings up email addresses and landline phones for my contact, as well as eventually the mobile number. Is there a way to just get mobile numbers? I would never text an email or landline.

In this case, the app will use all the contacts you have on your phone. The only way to not see those contacts would be to remove them completely from your main contacts app.

Thanks.
That suggestion is not viable as I need that info for uses other than texting. Why does your app include this extraneous info?
