Can I get texts from my number from the past year?

I would like to get every text sent from my phone for the past year, conversations included if at all possible.

For a year?  No, not unless you were backing them up elsewhere for the last year.  With Messages + it will sync the last 90 days only.

If you still have the device and the messages are on there, you can use one of many SMS Backup applications available in the Play Store to save the information into a file that you can print.
