Can my husband and I both use the same PC for our Verizon messages? If so, how do I do that? I tried installing the desktop app a 2nd time on the PC and it just automatically pulls his up without doing all of the set up stuff again (like asking for the mobile number to be associated with the app, etc.)

Just don't use the desktop app, use the webpage and just sign in on your own account each time you want to access it.
