I newly installed VM+ app but cannot properly connect my primary Verizon wireless phone number.

The following screen shot is what I expected at initial set up in order for a device to be connected to a specific phone number.

(I used my NEXUS 9 tablet)

However this screen didn't come when I tried to do exactly same thing on my NEXUS 5X.

(No error message, just skip it to go conversation page.)

Therefore I could not connect my NEXUS 5X to my primary Verizon phone number.

Why?

Because the Nexus 5X is a phone, not a tablet or computer.  The app sees a phone and looks for the phone number assigned to that device.
