Been a Verizon customer for many years and never had a texting problem. Several years ago I upgraded to a Flipshot and for some reason I wasn't able to get texts from AT&T phones. Verizon said they couldn't find anything and it had to be an AT&T problem. Don't understand b/c all I did was change phones, not #'s, and my mom took my old phone and it still was able to receive AT&T texts on it. Waited 2 yrs to upgrade thinking it was the phone and all would be fixed. WRONG. Got a Dare and have the same problem. It's upgrade time again, and of course I want the iPhone, but really want to get this texting thing fixed. It's kind of aggravating telling everyone to send a text to my email - which doesn't always send me an alert. Any suggestions?
Have you found a solution? I have a similar issue. My Droid is unable to receive texts from an AT&T iphone. I can send a text to this person but am unalbe to receive a text from them.
