Can't register words to User Dictionary

I have an LG Revolution

I can't add words to my user dictionary. I hit the "New Word" button, but when I try it pops up with "Not Registered"

Don't you just hate it when your word isn't in the phone dictionary? I know I do!

Did you try one or both of the below options when attempting to add the word to your dictionary?

 

  • Option 1 - Go to settings, then language and keyboard settings, and select user dictionary and then press menu and add
  • Option 2 - Long press the word and then click on Add to Dictionary
